केदारनाथ। 9 मई से खुलेंगे, उत्तराखंड के चार धाम में शामिल केदारनाथ के कपाट। 20 दिन पहले तक मंदिर से करीब एक किमी दूर तक 6 से 7 फीट तक बर्फ जमी है। यहां माइनस दो डिग्री तापमान में जिला आपदा प्रबंधन की टीम के 150 मजदूर अलग-अलग जगह बर्फ हटाने में जुटे हैं।

आपदा प्रबंधन अधिकारी हरीशचंद्र शर्मा ने कहा कि 24 मार्च को गौरीकुंड से केदारनाथ के पैदल मार्ग पर 100 मजदूरों ने बर्फ हटाने का काम शुरू किया था। रामबाड़ा से रुद्रा प्वाइंट होते हुए बेस कैंप तक पैदल मार्ग पर लगभग 10 किमी में ग्लेशियर जोन को छोड़कर बाकी के पूरे हिस्से में 6 फीट बर्फ काटकर रास्ता बना दिया गया है। उम्मीद है कि अगले एक हफ्ते में मंदिर तक बर्फ हटाकर रास्ता खोल लिया जाएगा।
