नई दिल्ली। नामांकन के बाद वेस्ट दिल्ली के बीजेपी उम्मीदवार प्रवेश साहिब सिंह ने पहले वीकेंड पर रैपिड तरीके से प्रचार किया। बीजेपी के प्रवेश ने सुबह बैंडमिंटन खेलते हुए वोट मांगे। फिर मंदिर गए, पूजा की और वहां भी वोट मांगे। प्रचार के लिए घर से निकले तो चाय की दुकान पर पहुंच गए। फिर मोदी-मोदी की नारेबाजी में प्रवेश कुछ देर के लिए चायवाला भी बन गए। उन्होंने चाय बनाई और बांटी भी। फिर लंबी रैली में निकले। हर गली, नुक्कड़, मंदिर में पहुंचे।
वोट मांगने के दौरान उन्होंने पीएम मोदी के हाथ मजबूत करने की बात कहि। प्रवेश के चुनाव प्रचार की शुरुआत सुबह छह बजे हो गई थी। उन्होंने पंजाबी बाग के वीर सावरकर पार्क में युवाओं के साथ बैडमिंटन खेला और बुजुर्गों से बात की। फिर बीकानेर पार्क में आरडब्ल्यूए को संबोधित किया। मादीपुर के शिव मंदिर से रैली की शुरुआत की। मादीपुर की तंग गलियों में लोग पगड़ी पहनाकर प्रवेश का स्वागत कर रहे थे। रास्ते में कभी गाड़ी पर तो कभी पैदल चलकर प्रवेश अपने जनसंपर्क को आगे बढ़ा रहे थे। ढोल नगाड़े की धुन पर महिला कार्यकर्ता भी साथ थीं।
जनसंपर्क के दौरान प्रवेश जब एक चायवाले के पास पहुंचे तो पहले उनका हालचाल लिया। फिर वोट देने की अपील करते हुए चाय का बर्तन पकड़ा। उन्होंने चाय बनाने के लिए किसी की मदद भी नहीं ली। चाय बनाकर लोगों को दी भी। वहां मौजूद कई लोगों ने कहा, जब पीएम चाय बना सकते हैं तो बीजेपी कार्यकर्ता क्यों नहीं। हालांकि कुछ लोगों ने इसे प्रचार का नया तरीका बताया। मादीपुर की गलियों में ऐसे मौके भी आए, जब प्रवेश को गाड़ी से उतर कर वोटरों के घर जाना पड़ा।
रैली की शुरुआत में एक बुजुर्ग ने इलाके की समस्या पर बोलते-बोलते गुस्से में नज़र आने लगे थे। पहले उन्हें कुछ कार्यकर्ताओं ने समझाया, लेकिन वह डटे रहे। आखिर में प्रवेश वर्मा से भी उन्होंने बात की। प्रवेश ने भरोसा दिलाया कि आचार संहिता खत्म होते ही काम पूरा हो जाएगा।
