ग्लोबल डेस्क। पाकिस्तान को भारतीय चाय का निर्यात 2019 में बढ़कर 2-2।5 करोड़ किलोग्राम हो सकता है। कश्मीर के पुलवामा में आतंकवादी हमले और इसके बाद बालाकोट हमले के कारण दोनों दोनों देशों के बीच तनाव का चाय के निर्यात पर असर नहीं पड़ेगा। पिछले वर्ष पाकिस्तान को लगभग 1।58 करोड़ किलोग्राम चाय का निर्यात किया गया था।

इंडस्ट्री के एग्जिक्युटिव्सका कहना है कि केन्या में सूखे के कारण चाय का उत्पादन कम हुआ है और इससे मोम्बासा में नीलामी में प्राइसेज 15-20 पर्सेंट बढ़ गए थे। जयश्री टी ऐंड इंडस्ट्रीज के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर डी पी माहेश्वरी ने कहा, ‘इस वजह से पाकिस्तान भारत से अधिक चाय का आयात कर रहा है।’ पाकिस्तान को निर्यात की जाने वाली चाय का लगभग 80 पर्सेंट दक्षिण भारत और बाकी असम से होता है।

बढ़ सकता है चाय का निर्यात
पिछले वर्ष केन्या में 49।2 करोड़ किलोग्राम की रेकॉर्ड फसल हुई थी। इससे ग्लोबल मार्केट में प्राइसेज गिर गए थे। इसका भारतीय चाय पर भी असर पड़ा था, लेकिन इस वर्ष केन्या में चाय की फसल काफी कम होगी। इंडियन टी एसोसिएशन (ITA) के सेक्रेटरी सुजीत पात्रा ने कहा , ‘पाकिस्तान से नियमित भुगतान होता है। इसे लेकर भारतीय चाय निर्यातकों को अभी तक कोई समस्या नहीं हुई है। पाकिस्तान अच्छी मात्रा में भारतीय चाय खरीद रहा है और अगर यह ट्रेंड जारी रहता है तो इस वर्ष उस चाय का निर्यात बढ़कर 2-2।5 करोड़ किलोग्राम तक पहुंच सकता है।’

पाक में बढ़ी चाय की खपत
पाकिस्तान में 2007 से 2016 के बीच प्रति व्यक्ति चाय की खपत लगभग 36 पर्सेंट बढ़ी है। यूनाइटेड नेशंस के फूड ऐंड एग्रीकल्चर ऑर्गनाइजेशन (FAO) के अनुसार, पाकिस्तान में 2027 तक चाय की खपत बढ़कर 2,50,800 टन तक पहुंच सकती है। अभी यह आंकड़ा 1,72,911 टन का है।

पुलवामा हमले के बाद भारत ने पाकिस्तान से ‘मोस्ट-फेवर्ड नैशन’ का दर्जा वापस ले लिया था। इस हमले की जिम्मेदारी पाकिस्तान स्थित आतंकवादी संगठन ने ली थी। ITA के चेयरमैन विवेक गोयनका ने कहा कि देश की टी इंडस्ट्री एक्सपोर्ट के लिए नए मार्केट्स में जाने की कोशिश कर रही है।

भारतीय चाय के लिए रूस बड़ा मार्केट
भारतीय चाय के लिए रूस एक बड़ा मार्केट है। 2018 में रूस ने भारत से लगभग 4।5 करोड़ किलोग्राम चाय खरीदी थी। ईरान का आयात 3।6 करोड़ किलोग्राम और इजिप्ट का करीब 1।13 करोड़ किलोग्राम था। भारतीय चाय निर्यातक अब इराक में प्रवेश करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। एग्जिक्युटिव्स ने कहा कि अगर भारत से चाय का आयात करने वाले देश खरीदारी बढ़ाते हैं तो भारत का चाय निर्यात 2020 तक बढ़कर 30 करोड़ किलोग्राम हो सकता है।
