नई दिल्ली। पश्चिम बंगाल के डॉक्टरों के समर्थन में दिल्ली में लगभग 18,000 से अधिक डॉक्टर सोमवार को हड़ताल पर रहे। ऐसा पहली बार हुआ कि दिल्ली में केंद्र सरकार के एम्स, सफदरजंग, आरएमएल, लेडी हार्डिंग, कलावती सरन अस्पताल, दिल्ली सरकार के एलएनजेपी, जीबी पंत, जीटीबी, डीडीयू, आंबेडकर अस्पताल और एमसीडी के हिंदूराव, ईएसआई के अस्पताल, रेलवे के अस्पतालों के साथ-साथ सैकड़ों प्राइवेट अस्पताल, क्लिनिक और डिस्पेंसरी के भी डॉक्टरों ने स्ट्राइक की। पूरी दिल्ली में लोग इलाज के लिए भटकते रहे।

हड़ताल की वजह से 2000 से 2500 सर्जरी टालनी पड़ी। लगभग 90 हजार से एक लाख लोगों को ओपीडी में इलाज नहीं मिला पाया और पहले से एडमिट मरीज भी इलाज के लिए परेशान होते रहे।

डॉक्टरों के स्ट्राइक पर जाने से सैकड़ों रूटीन सर्जरी टालनी पड़ी
बंगाल के डॉक्टरों के समर्थन में एम्स ने पहले शुक्रवार को एक दिन की स्ट्राइक की थी, उसके बाद एम्स आरडीए ने पहले स्ट्राइक नहीं करने का फैसला किया लेकिन बाद में उनके समर्थन में सोमवार को स्ट्राइक पर जाने का फैसला किया। मरीजों के हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए सुबह आठ बजे से बारह बजे तक पहले ओपीडी में इलाज किया और फिर उसके बाद स्ट्राइक पर गए। हालांकि, रेजिडेंट डॉक्टरों के स्ट्राइक पर जाने से सैकड़ों रूटीन सर्जरी टालनी पड़ी। हालांकि, इस दौरान एम्स इमरजेंसी, एम्स ट्रॉमा सेंटर में मरीजों का इलाज रूटीन तरीके किया गया। हालांकि, स्ट्राइक के डर से एम्स में आम दिनों की तुलना में सोमवार को कम मरीज आए। एम्स में 12 बजे तक फैकल्टी के साथ रेजिडेंट डॉक्टरों ने इलाज किया।

सफदरजंग में भी ऐसा ही हाल रहा। रेजिडेंट डॉक्टर ने ओपीडी में काम नहीं किया, लेकिन सभी फैकल्टी ने ओपीडी में काम किया। डॉक्टर कम होने की वजह से मरीजों लंबा इंतजार करना पड़ा। एक डॉक्टर ने बताया कि एक-एक यूनिट में कई-कई सर्जरी प्लान थीं, लेकिन 200 से ज्यादा सर्जरी नहीं हुई।

प्राइवेट अस्पतालों में भी सेवा रही ठप
दिल्ली मेडिकल असोसिएशन (DMA) के आह्वान पर दिल्ली के प्राइवेट अस्पताल, डिस्पेंसरी और क्लिनिक ने भी स्ट्राइक का समर्थन करते हुए ओपीडी सेवा बंद कर दी। डीएमए के प्रेजिडेंट डॉक्टर गिरीश त्यागी ने बताया कि ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है जब दिल्ली में सभी सरकारी और प्राइवेट अस्पतालों में एकसाथ स्ट्राइक की। अपना क्लीनिक चलाने वाले डॉक्टर ए। के। झिंगन ने बताया कि रूटीन ओपीडी बंद थी, लेकिन इमरजेंसी में अगर कोई मरीज आ रहा था तो उसका इलाज किया।
