बिज़नेस डेस्क। संतूर किसी भी भारतीय एफएमसीजी (फास्ट मूविंग कन्ज्यूमर गुड्स) कंपनी का ऐसा साबुन ब्रैंड बन गया जिसने 2 हजार करोड़ रुपये की सालाना सेल का स्तर छू लिया। संतूर बनाने वाली विप्रो कन्ज्यूमर केयर ने एक अखबार से इस आंकड़े की पुष्टी की। संतूर ने 2 हजार करोड़ रुपये के टर्नओवर के साथ हिंदुस्तान युनिलिवर लिमिटेड (एचयूएल) के लक्स को पछाड़ दिया और अब लाइफ बॉय के सामने चुनौती पेश कर रहा है। एचयूएल की ताजा सालाना रिपोर्ट में लाइफबॉय और लक्स को क्रमशः 2 हजार करोड़ और 1 हजार करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा के सेल्स ब्रैकेट में रखा गया था।

हिंदुस्तान युनिलिवर का इतिहास
विप्रो कन्ज्यूमर केयर ऐंड लाइटिंग के सीईओ विनीत अग्रवाल ने कहा, ‘संतूर की मांग शहरी और ग्रामीण बाजारों में लगातार बढ़ रही है। अब यह 2 हजार करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा के कन्ज्यूमर ब्रैंड्स में शामिल हो गया है। यह पहला और अकेला भारतीय साबुन है जिसने यह उपलब्धि हासिल की है।’ गौरतलब है कि एचयूएल एक ब्रिटिश-डच कंपनी है जिसका मुख्यालय मुंबई में है। इसकी स्थापना 1933 में लीवर ब्रदर्स के नाम से हुई थी। 1956 में जब ग्रुप कंपनियों का विलय हुआ तो इसका नाम हिंदुस्तान युनिलिवर लिमिटेड कर दिया गया। फिर जून 2007 में यह हिंदुस्तान यूनिलिवर लिमिटेड हो गया।

शहरों में सबसे ज्यादा बिकने वाला साबुन, संतूर
बहरहाल, इंडस्ट्री के सूत्रों ने कंतार हाउसहोल्ड पैनल डेटा के हवाले से कहा कि इस वर्ष जनवरी से मार्च तक पूरे देश में सॉप मार्केट के 15.1% पर अकेले संतूर का कब्जा था। यानी, इसने 12.5% के मार्केट शेयर वाले लक्स को पछाड़ दिया, हालांकि 17.7% के मार्केट शेयर वाले लाइफबॉय से थोड़ा पीछे रह गया। हालांकि, सिर्फ शहरी बाजारों में संतूर ने 13.4% हिस्सेदारी हासिल की और यहां वह लक्स (12%) और लाइफबॉय (13%), दोनों से आगे निकल गया। कंतार ने इस आंकड़े पर टिप्पणी करने से इनकार कर दिया।
