रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज की एजीएम (एनुअल जनरल मीटिंग) में कंपनी ने साफ कर दिया था कि जियो गीगाफाइबर का इंस्टॉलेशन यूजर्स के लिए पूरी तरह से फ्री होगा। हालांकि, यह फ्री इंस्टॉलेशन स्कीम कुछ ही दिनों के लिए वैलिड है। हालांकि, जियो गीगाफाइबर के साथ आने वाले राउटर के लिए कंपनी ग्राहकों से 2,500 रुपये लेगी जो कि रिफंडेबल है।
