पुलवामा मुठभेड़ में दो आतंकी ढेर, मारा गया हिजबुल का इरफान

जम्मू। दक्षिणी कश्मीर के पुलवामा जिले में सोमवार को देर शाम से शुरू हुई मुठभेड़ मंगलवार सुबह तक चली। मुठभेड़ में सुरक्षा बलों ने दो आतंकियों को ढेर कर दिया। कल रात सेना ने एक आतंकी को मार गिराने में सफलता पाई थी। उसके बाद अंधेरा होने की वजह से ऑपरेशन रोक दिया गया था। लेकिन घेरा सख्त रखा गया और सुबह दोबारा ऑपरेशन शुरू किया गया।

पुलवामा जिले के पछाड़ द्रबगाम इलाके से सोमवार की देर शाम सुरक्षा बलों की पेट्रोलिंग पार्टी गुजर रही थी। इस दौरान वहां मौजूद आतंकियों ने सुरक्षाबलों के वाहन पर ताबड़तोड़ फायरिंग की। जवाबी कार्रवाई से मुठभेड़ शुरू हो गई।

मारे गए आतंकियों में से हिजबुल का इरफान अहमद नायरा रियाज नायकू का करीबी था। वह साल 2016 से आतंकी गतिविधियों में संलिप्त था। वहीं मारा गया एक अन्य आतंकी इरफान राथर 2017 से सक्रिय था।

अनुच्छेद 370 हटाए जाने के बाद हिंसक प्रदर्शन के मामले में पुलिस ने एक आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस के अनुसार उत्तरी कश्मीर के कुपवाड़ा जिले में तंगधार के बागी-मेहताब इलाके के बशीर अहमद कुरैशी को रविवार को गिरफ्तार किया गया। उसे छानपोरा इलाके से पकड़ा गया।

पुलिस ने बताया कि पुलिस रिकॉर्ड के अनुसार वह श्रीनगर में विशेषकर सौरा इलाके के आंचर में देशविरोधी हिंसक प्रदर्शन में शामिल था। प्रारंभिक जांच में पाया गया कि उसका अलगाववादियों से नाता था।

पुलिस और सुरक्षा बलों पर पथराव करने और देशविरोधी प्रदर्शन करने के लिए युवकों को उकसाने में उसकी अहम भूमिका थी। उसने गैरकानूनी बैठकें और हिंसक प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने में भी भूमिका निभाई। इस मामले में जांच जारी है।
