Agra: Dr. MPS World School hosted a grand Vidyarambh Sanskar ceremony for its newly admitted students, conducted in accordance with traditional Vedic rituals. The school campus was imbued with a festive and sacred atmosphere as young children, accompanied by their parents and teachers, took their first step into the world of formal education.

The ceremony commenced with Vedic chanting and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Learned priests performed a traditional Havan (sacred fire ritual), during which children were guided to draw the auspicious Swastik symbol — a mark signifying the beginning of their educational journey. The rituals evoked a deep sense of cultural connection among all attendees. Cultural performances and a welcome song further enriched the event, and children were presented with gifts from the school.

Speaking on the occasion, Squadron Leader A. K. Singh, Chairman of the school, said, “Vidyarambh Sanskar is not merely an academic tradition but a vital part of our cultural legacy. It is a significant moment when a child begins the journey of knowledge. Such ceremonies leave a lasting impression on young minds and inspire them to grow into responsible citizens.”

Principal Rakhi Jain expressed her gratitude to the parents and guests, stating, “At Dr. MPS World School, we aim to provide more than just academic education. We strive to connect our students with Indian culture, moral values, and a modern outlook. The Vidyarambh Sanskar marks a new beginning in the lives of our students, and we are proud to offer them a holistic foundation for their future.”

The success of the program was made possible by the dedication of the school’s teaching and non-teaching staff. Notable attendees included Rimpi Kakkar, Kinjal Jain, Kajal Singh, Yashi Kaushik, Divya Khandelwal, and Yogi Chahar, among others. The event was compered by Deepa Sharma and concluded with the national anthem.
