इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट ने अपने एक नोटिफिकेशन में इस बारे में स्पष्ट जानकारी दी है कि जिन लोगों ने 30 जून तक अपने पैन को आधार कार्ड से लिंक नहीं कराया है। उनका पैन कार्ड 1 जुलाई, 2023 से निष्क्रिय हो जाएगा।

ऐसे में वे काम जिनको कराने में खासतौर पर पैन कार्ड की जरूरत होती है। वे काम पैन कार्ड के डिएक्टिवेट होने की वजह से नहीं किए जा सकेंगे। ऐसे में पैनकार्ड धारकों को 1 हजार रुपये की लेट फीस भरकर दोबारा अपने पैन को आधार कार्ड से लिंक कराकर उसको एक्टिव कराना होगा।
वहीं इनकम टैक्स विभाग के नोटिफिकेशन के मुताबिक पैनकार्ड धारक अगर 1 हजार रुपये की पेनाल्टी देकर भी दोबारा पैन कार्ड को एक्टिव कराते हैं। ऐसे में उनको फीस जमा करने के बाद भी पैन कार्ड के एक्टिव होने के लिए 30 दिनों तक का इंतजार करना है।
30 दिनों की अवधि के दौरान पैन कार्ड निष्क्रिय रहेगा। इसी वजह से टैक्सपेयर्स काफी परेशान हैं। ऐसे में जिन लोगों को इस महीने आईटीआर दाखिल करना है और उनका पैन कार्ड निष्क्रिय है। इस स्थिति में उनको आईटीआर दाखिल करने में दिक्कतें आ सकती हैं।
