जयपुर। विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन वर्तमान के बारे में सूत्रों का कहना है कि उन्हें राजस्थान में सूरतगढ़ स्थित एयरबेस में तैनात किया गया है। यही नहीं, अभिनंदन ने शनिवार को अपनी जिम्मेदारी भी संभाल ली। बता दें कि 27 फरवरी को अभिनंदन वर्तमान पाकिस्तान में फंस गए थे, जिसके बाद वह तकरीबन 60 घंटों तक वहां की सेना के कब्जे में थे।
पाकिस्तान से लौटने के बाद अभिनंदन की यह पहली पोस्टिंग है। इससे पहले वह श्रीनगर में तैनात थे। हालांकि, आधिकारिक तौर पर इंडियन एयरफोर्स (IAF) ने विंग कमांडर की नई तैनाती के बारे में सूचित नहीं किया है।
एक अधिकारी का कहना है, ‘डिफेंस की पोस्टिंग से संबंधित सभी जानकारियां खुफिया होती हैं। हम बस इतना बता सकते हैं कि विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन को राजस्थान में तैनात किया गया है।’ सूरतगढ़ में सूत्रों ने हमारे सहयोगी अखबार टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया को बताया कि अभिनंदन ने वहां इंडियन एयरफोर्स स्टेशन जॉइन किया है। एक अधिकारी ने बताया, ‘सूरतगढ़ एयरफोर्स बेस में भी मिग-21 बायसन (MiG-21 Bison) एयरक्राफ्ट है लेकिन प्रोटोकॉल के तहत यह स्पष्ट नहीं है कि क्या वह दोबारा उड़ान भर पाएंगे? जबकि पायलट किन्हीं कारणों के चलते लड़ाकू विमान से नीचे उतर आया हो।’
