श्रीलंका में मृतकों के लिए शोक जताते हुए पीएम मोदी ने ट्वीट कर घटना की कड़ी निंदा की

कोलंबो। श्रीलंका में चर्च और होटलों में हुए धमाके से मृतक संख्या 290 हुई। जेडीएस के 2 नेताओं समेत 6 भारतीयों की मौत। कुल 33 विदेशी नागरिकों के मारे जाने की पुष्टि हुई है। 500 से ज्यादा लोग जख्मी हुए हैं। पुलिस के मुताबिक, इस मामले में अब तक 24 संदिग्धाें को गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है। रविवार देर रात पुलिस को कोलंबो एयरपोर्ट के पास छह फीट लंबा पाइप बम मिला। इसे एयरफोर्स ने डिफ्यूज कर दिया।

कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री एचडी कुमारस्वामी ने भी बोला था कि जेडीएस के सात नेताओं का दल कोलंबो गया था इनमें से दो लापता हैं। बाद में 2 नेताओं हनुमंतारायप्पा और रंगप्पा के हमलों में मारे जाने की पुष्टि हुई।

पाइप बम बना था स्थानीय स्तर पर

एयरफोर्स के प्रवक्ता ग्रुप कैप्टन गिहान सेनेविरत्ने ने बताया कि एयरपोर्ट पर मिला आईईडी स्थानीय स्तर पर बना था। बम के मिलने के बाद एयरपोर्ट जाने वाले लोगों को काफी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा। श्रीलंका की एयरलाइन कंपनियों ने भी कड़ी सुरक्षा जांच के चलते यात्रियों को फ्लाइट के उड़ान भरने से चार घंटे पहले एयरपोर्ट पहुंचने के निर्देश जारी कर दिए।

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने ट्वीट कर निंदा की

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने फोन पर श्रीलंका के राष्ट्रपति मैत्रीपाला सिरिसेना और पीएम रानिल विक्रमसिंघे से बात की। साथ ही ट्वीट कर घटना की कड़ी निंदा की। मोदी ने कहा कि हमारे क्षेत्र में बर्बरता के लिए कोई जगह नहीं है। भारत श्रीलंका के लोगों के साथ मजबूती से खड़ा है। उन्होंने मृतकों और घायलों के परिवारों के साथ संवेदना जताई।

सेंट एंथनी चर्च में हुआ था पहला धमाका
पहला धमाका कोलंबो के कोच्चिकड़े स्थित सेंट एंथनी चर्च में हुआ, इसके बाद नेगोंबो के कटुवपिटिया स्थित सेंट सेबेस्टियन चर्च और बट्टीकलोआ स्थित चर्च में धमाके हुए। इनके अलावा कोलंबो के फाइव स्टार होटलों शांगरी ला, किंग्सबरी और सिनेमन ग्रैंड में भी ब्लास्ट हुए। आठ में से शुरुआती छह धमाके लगभग एक ही समय पर सुबह 8:45 बजे हुए। बाकी दो धमाके दोपहर में दो से ढाई बजे के बीच कोलंबो में हुए।

11 अप्रैल को चेतावनी दी थी पुलिस ने
श्रीलंका के पुलिस प्रमुख पुजुत जयसुंदरा ने 11 अप्रैल को चेतावनी देते हुए कहा था, ‘‘एक विदेशी खुफिया एजेंसी ने कहा है कि नेशनल थोहीथ जमात (एनटीजे) देश के प्रमुख चर्चों और कोलंबो के भारतीय उच्चायोग पर आत्मघाती हमले की साजिश रच रहा है।’’

SRIएनटीजे श्रीलंका का कट्टरपंथी मुस्लिम संगठन है। यह पिछले साल उस वक्त चर्चा में आया था जब उसने बुद्ध की मूर्तियों को तोड़ा था।
